January Sucks

Okay, so a friend of mine made me realize why I haven't been blogging lately.....Yes, I admit, I am addicted to the Twilight series. (Lara, I'm already reading Breaking Dawn, but I have to fight Jordan for it every night) Unfortunately, the real reason for the lapse is that Jordan lost his job last week. Construction is just so slow right now that his company made some major cut-backs. It is hopefully a temporary thing, but I'm pretty down and feel all around angry with the world right now.....Probably not something everyone wants to hear about. Anyway, when I can pull myself together I promise to put up pictures of Christmas. Right now we're just sort of in survival mode.

I'm so sorry Melissa! Jon is in the same boat...which doesn't make you worry less, I know, but I hope you know we love you and are praying for you! Hang in there sweetie!

I'm so sorry to hear about Jordan. Things will work out, but it's hard to keep positive in the mean time.
I am reading Breaking Dawn too! My friends conned me into going to the movie and demanded I read the first book. I was hooked after that! I miss you! Hang in there. Your daily escape to Forks should help a little. :)

I'm so sorry to hear that. But I'm all for cheering you up with Aubri. And I'm all for escaping real life with vampires, too.

I am so sorry that Jordan lost his job. We have been there. It was just after we bought our house and I had 3 kids in diapers. It was such a hard time. I know it was hard on Kirk as well because he felt like he should be the provider. He is not a depressed person, but I could tell it really got him down. I have made your snickerdoodles twice this month and even had them for dinner last night. Oh boy are they good!

Dude . . . you so should vent about it. How else are you not going to explode? That really does suck that he lost his job. This economy crisis needs to END!
And I really was so into the Twilight saga that I forgot that Edward and Jacob weren't real.
It is too fun!

Hey, that's a pretty good reason not to blog. I am sorry. Hope things look up for you. You have a cute family and it's been fun "meeting" your beautiful kids this way and catching up with you a bit.

Melissa,
Will you send me your phone number? I was going to call Jord on his birthday but all I have is his Layton cell number and your number before you went to St. George. Love, Jer
